School Day/Routine

This is a typical day at Membury Primary Academy.

The children line up outside the village hall and are collected by the teaching staff at 8:50am. 

The school day runs from 8.55am until 3.30pm each day. This amounts to 6h 35m each day and 32h 55m each week.

8:50 - 9:00 Early morning task and register
9:00 - 9:45 Reading and spelling including phonics
9:45 - 10.45 English
10:45 - 11:00 Break
11:00 - 12:05 Maths
12:05 - 12:15 Story
12:15 - 1:05 Lunch
1:05-3:15 Afternoon lessons including science and foundation subjects
3:15 - 3:30 Collective worship


The children are taken out to their parents at 3.30pm for collection outside the village hall.
